Shipping Policy

PRODUCTS MADE IN BEND, OREGON


Order Processing

All of our products are designed in Bend, OR. Most of our products are handcrafted in-house and shipped from Central Oregon, with a couple of exceptions.

Processing times will vary from product to product. Oftentimes, items are made once your order has been placed. This means we are busy working on getting your product made after receiving your order — before it can be shipped.

Shipping Timeframes

In most cases, items are shipped via USPS. Depending on where the order is going, USPS estimates shipping timeframes within the United States are typically 2-4 days.

Items are typically dropped off at the post office on Tuesday and Friday afternoons.

Important Note: Shipping times are in addition to processing times. Be sure to read ‘Order Processing’ information, as items do not always ship the same day they are ordered.

During peak seasons (such as holidays), processing and shipping times may increase slightly. The sooner you place your order, the better. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We offer free shipping on all orders over $10; otherwise, a $5 flat-rate shipping fee applies.

For items made in-house, we strive to ship them within 24 to 72 hours of purchase (business days; Monday-Friday). We make it a point to make trips to the post office on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. For example, if an order is placed on Saturday, it will typically be transferred to the post office on Tuesday.

International Shipping

International shipping is not available. At this time, we only ship orders within the United States.

PRODUCTION PARTNERS


Production Partner Information for Items Not Made in Bend, Oregon

We work with partners to produce some of our products whose processing times vary in a few cases.

If the product listing does not state “Ships from Bend, OR,” it may be from a production partner.

You may receive items shipped from our production partners located throughout the United States, including Arizona, California, New York, North Carolina, and North Dakota.

Production Partner Processing and Shipping Information

In the case of products made by a production partner, the order will be shipped after the processing period (up to 10 days); please allow additional time for shipping (typically 2-4 business days).

ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY OPTIONS


Local Pick-Up (15 miles East of Bend / 25 minutes drive)

For our local friends, you may want to pick up your order. We have one small disclosure for you…

While our address is based in Bend, Oregon, we are physically located 25 minutes East of city limits.

If you are willing to make the drive, we can arrange a local pick-up. Your order will only be available for pick-up after it has been processed.

Local Delivery is Unavailable

We currently cannot handle local deliveries. We apologize for the inconvenience. 

Order Status & Other Issues


How do I check the status of my order? 

Once your order has been processed and has been marked as shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information.

While you may have received tracking details, there are times packages miss the origination scan at the post office. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 7 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@bringabouthappy.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it.

Package Delivery Issues or Wrong Address

Package Already Delivered?

  • If your package was marked as delivered, but you don’t have it. We cannot replace the item. We suggest checking with your mail carrier, shipping company, or asking neighbors if your package was inadvertently delivered to the wrong address (we’ve had it happen to us before!).
  • Important note: We cannot be held liable for packages stolen, lost by USPS or another delivery companies, or deliveries made to the wrong address. You, the buyer, are responsible for filing claims for missing or lost packages with USPS and/or other delivery services.  

USPS and/or the Delivery Company is in Charge

Unfortunately, we cannot intercept a package once it has left our hands and/or has been turned over to USPS or other delivery service (i.e. UPS, FedEx, OnTrac, etc…).

Wrong Address Provided?

  • If the wrong address was provided, please send us a message as soon as you recognize the error, but we cannot guarantee the address can be updated before the item(s) ships.
  • Note: If the item has already shipped, we cannot intercept it with USPS or another delivery service.
  • If the order has already been shipped, you will most likely need to re-order the item(s). We are not responsible for the cost of re-order if the wrong address was provided when the order was placed.

The sooner we are notified, the better! Since we work with production partners to make a small handful of products, there are times we may be unable to change the address before it ships. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee anything.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days from the date of purchase on most items. Additional conditions apply; refer to our Return Policy.

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s); shipping costs are non-refundable

To be eligible for return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and/or have original tags attached. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned, including clearance items.

Returned (and exchanged) items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee; this is on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, if the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any and all loss in value.

If you are shipping an item(s) over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not responsible for items lost by the shipping company.

Small Business

We are a small business, which means we are not a mega-corporation that ships millions of packages a day—at least not yet! Therefore, we are at the mercy of shipping company timelines. We truly appreciate your understanding and grace. And thank you so much for your support!!!
